Sigurd is a tall, sculptural display shelf in amber pine, with five staggered shelves spreading from a central post in a soft tree-form silhouette. Everything settles onto a single travertine plinth at the base — warm wood lifted by quiet stone.

A Tree-Form Silhouette

The shelves stagger asymmetrically from a central pine post — narrower at the top, wider through the middle, anchored at the bottom. The shape reads as much like a piece of sculpture as a place to keep books.

Pine Shelves on a Travertine Plinth

The whole frame rests on a slab of natural travertine — the unexpected base material that makes the piece feel weighted and intentional. Pine is finished in a warm amber-brown tone; the travertine is raw and softly veined.
