A sideboard sets the rhythm of a room — the piece that holds the quiet things: linens, candles, an album sleeve, a folded throw. Stellan carries that rhythm with sculptural weight.
Stellan Ridge is a two-door sideboard built from solid Northeast elm, with hand-carved ridged door fronts and a raw cream travertine slab resting on top. The wood is warm and slow-grained; the stone is cool and unfilled. Together they make a quiet, architectural piece for hallways, dining rooms, and living spaces that prefer texture over polish.
Ridged, Hand-Carved Wood Doors
The door fronts are the soul of this sideboard. Vertical blocks of solid elm are cut and offset by hand into a sculptural ridged surface — a tactile patchwork that catches morning light differently than afternoon. No two panels read exactly the same. The doors open from the centre to a generous, quiet interior, made for the things a home likes to keep close.
A Raw Travertine Slab Top
The top is a single slab of raw, unfilled cream travertine — left in its natural state, with open pores, soft veins, and a chiselled stone edge. Travertine forms over thousands of years in mineral springs, so no two slabs share the same pattern. The surface develops a soft patina with use, deepening into the room over time.
Our manufacturer is FSC certified means that a product is made from or contains materials sourced from forests that are managed responsibly, following the standards set by the non-profit Forest Stewardship Council.

Care
- Dust the wood and stone with a soft, dry cloth.
- Wipe the travertine with a damp cloth; avoid acidic cleaners (vinegar, citrus) which can etch raw stone.
- Apply a stone sealer every 12–18 months if desired — or leave raw to develop a natural patina.
- Use coasters under glasses; protect the wood from prolonged moisture and direct sunlight.
